Computer Recycling Project at The University Of York
The Computer Recycling Project is based at The University of York and aims to ensure that no useable computer equipment is thrown away on campus. We take computer equipment that would otherwise be scrapped and offer it to charities, departments, staff and students with any profits raised being donated to charity.
Opening Times
During term time we are open on Wednesdays from 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm. If you'd like to make an enquiry, feel free to call 01904 43 4442 during those hours.
We've got loads of PCs in the 2GHz+ range. If you're looking for something in particular, come down and see us. We might not have what you want but people rarely leave empty handed.
Hot Stuff
Donations
We accept most desktop PCs over 2GHz. Please email us about slower machines, as it is much harder for us to shift them.
